Abstract:
This research review summarizes the major findings and conclusions of “Elder Abuse Detection and Intervention: A Collaborative Approach (2007), by Bonnie Brandl, Carmel Bitondo Dyer, Candace J. Heisler, Joanne Marlatt Otto, Lori A. Stiegel, and Randolph W. Thomas, which is described as a dense and finely textured examination of the use of collaborative, multidisciplinary teams to respond to elder abuse and neglect. Mead also discusses the article “Elder Abuse Among African Americans”, by Jesse J.
