Abstract: 

These days it would be an unusual person who had not heard of blogs. Many people think of blogs as the public version of individuals’ diaries: boring collections of “I-did-this-and-then-I-did-that” stories that might make for entertaining reading, but are hardly tools professionals can use in their work. That is no longer true, if it ever was. This article discusses some of the common features and uses of blogs and offers thumbnail reviews of some that elder and adult abuse professionals might want to check out.
