Victimization of the Elderly and Disabled

Abstract: 

At its August 6, 2012, annual meeting, the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates adopted the following three resolutions dealing with the care of the elderly: 1. Resolution 106A, on advance care planning for seniors; 2. Resolution 106B, on guardianship standards; and 3. Resolution 106C, on the steps that the court system can take to assist victims of elder abuse; 1996 ABA Recommendations for State Courts.
