Abstract: 

This paper reviews the preliminary findings of an evaluation of a Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) enhancement grant designed to provide Vivitrol® to 81 drug court patients over three years. It examines several areas, including doses taken, side effects, urges to drink alcohol or use opiates, and some limited short-term outcomes.
