Abstract:
This article provides insight into a specific case of double homicide by two youths who had been involved in the juvenile justice system since their preteens. This case study provides background information about each of the four youths (the two individuals convicted and the two victims), the assessments used by the system, and the response to the youths by the system. The article then makes policy suggestions that can be extracted from the stories of these youth.Keywords: juvenile justice
