Abstract:
Fry makes the case for dividing offender treatment into three phases: treatment readiness, treatment and aftercare. He asserts that participants should be placed in the phase that matches their current mind-set and be moved through the phases (up or down) as their mind-set changes. Current offender programs that do not separate those being treated are nonsensical. Fry explains. Keywords: Treatment preparation
