Abstract: 

This issue reviews three cases: a woman convictewd of filing false tax returns appeals when her requested sentence of time served and a shortened term of supervised release is denied despite rehabilitation while in prison; Jaycee Dugard, held prisoner and sexually abused for 18 years, brings an action against the United States, claiming that federal probation offi cers and officials had negligently allowed her abductor to remain free at the time that she was kidnapped and held captive; an inmate alleges he was not being accepted into the dog program because he had filed grievances against prison staff members.
