Abstract: 

Our regular review of the research literature includes summaries of “The Connection of Probation/Parole Officer Actions to Women Offenders’ Recidivism” by Merry Morash, Deborah Kashy, Sandi Smith, and Jennifer Cobbina 43(4) Criminal Justice and Behavior (2016) 506–524. The purpose of the study presented in this article is to address this gap in the literature by examining how community supervision offi cers’ behavior directly and indirectly affects therecidivism rates of women under community correctional supervision.
