Abstract: 

The following article is a slightly edited version of the executive summary of an important new study conducted for the United Kingdom–based Restorative Justice Council regarding female offenders’ experiences of, and access to, restorative justice. This study critically questioned whether restorative justice is lagging behind other areas for criminal justice service provision in this area.
