Abstract:

The appellate court revisits the sentence imposed by the district court in the case of Rufus Robinson, who had pleaded guilty to the possession of child pornography and received one day of incarceration, with credit for time served, followed by five years of supervised release with conditions. In addition to remanding the case for resentencing, the appellate court also orders that the case be reassigned to a different district court judge.
