Abstract:
In August 2013, defendants filed a motion to terminate a 2008 Order arguing that health care had sufficiently improved so that the County was in compliance. On November 27, 2013, counsel for the plaintiffs filed an extensive “brief” in opposition to the defendants motion to terminate. Plaintiffs’ lingering complaints about the jails inadequate mental health care could be the chapter outline for a book on “constitutionally mandated mental health care in our jails.”Keywords: Graves v.
