Abstract: 

In 45 Harv. C.R. - C.L. L.Rev. 635 (Summer 2010), Joel Thompson provides the best on-the-ground description of how private correctional health care providers work within the contours of the Supreme Court’s definition of deliberate indifference as articulated in Farmer v. Brennan , 511 U.S. 825 (1994).
