Abstract:
This article summarizes a 2009 report from the Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law. The Report describes an initiative designed to reduce reliance on police in the often public, psychiatric emergencies by enabling community mental health systems to take a more collaborative and active role in actually preventing public struggles, shootings, Tasers, and the like.Keywords:
