Abstract:
The Pennsylvania Department of Health has developed a gut-wrenching, or infuriating (depending on one’s view), website that addresses the effects of drunk driving on survivors. FullApologies. com ( http://www.FullApologies.com/) presents five videos of young people apologizing to the families and friends of those they have killed through driving drunk. In these full-screen apologies, high school and college students who have been in drunk driving fatalities apologize to those they have harmed. This article discusses what the site is, how it has been received by bloggers and victims, and how it affects people’s decisions in terms of the social learning theory.Keywords: FullApologies. Com;
