Abstract: 

This article discusses Michigan’s “no excuse legislation”, New York’s BAC limit bill, Nick Nolte and Lizzie Grubman’s impaired driving incidents, factors behind drug cravings and relapse, MADD’s endorsement of the Internet as a tool in alcohol education, The Chrysler Group’s presentation at the North American International Automobile show, a study addressing the safety of seatbelts to others in the car, a decline in drug use among teens, economic factors in banning cell phone use while driving, various offenses and deaths in Westchester County due to underage drinking, and an online tool helping people spread the word about drunk driving.
