Abstract:

Cyberbullying is defined as “the electronic posting of mean-spirited messages about a person [such as a student] often done anonymously” or “when the Internet, cell phones, or other devices are used to send or post text or images intended to hurt or embarrass another person”. And although cyberbullying is viewed as “indirect” bullying, as opposed to traditional, face-to-face, “direct” bullying, some researchers believe that cyberbullying can be even more damaging than traditional bullying.
