Abstract:
This is the third installment of an article discussing the effectiveness of the Clery Act and responses to it. In Part I, the authors addressed the literature and articles on the Clery Act from its inception. In Part II, the authors identified some of the problems identified in compliance, interactions with relevant laws such as FERPA, and anecdotal criticism of the law. In Part III, the article offers a detailed analysis of the status of campus crime today.Keywords: Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act;
