Abstract:
This article draws attention to potential dangers of student use of antidepressants both for the individuals and for the institution. On every campus, students are presenting with more intense psychological needs and more frequent distress. Often meds are viewed as the best solution to students’ emotional disturbances. However, studies now indicate that, in some individuals, certain drugs cause erratic or aberrant behavior that can lead to violence and even death. Keywords: Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs); Clifford v.
