Abstract:
In Part I of this article, Dr. Goldenson provided models for the organization of health care services and touched on staffing, policy and procedure, space and equipment, pharmacy, records, CQI, and infection control. In Part II, the author moves into the functional components of a quality health care system, focusing on intake screening (medical, mental health, and dental screening); routine care and chronic care, women’s services, emergency care, specialized medical, dental, and addiction and substance use care, and suicide prevention.
