SPECIAL ISSUE ON STRANGULATION
Dear Friend of NFCJA,
In June 2014, Casey Gwinn and I served as guest editors of a special issue of Domestic Violence Report devoted to strangulation. For several years, the staff at the National Family Justice Center Alliance have developed legal position papers and training programs on this vital and often neglected subject. We took the most important ideas and strategies from our research and training work for this special issue, condensing a wealth of useful material into a concise and effective presentation.
The publishers of Domestic Violence Report, Civic Research Institute, have made this issue available free to supporters of NFJCA. To access and download this free issue, click here.
Downloading this special issue is free. You may print as many copies as you need for in-house use. We ask only that you do not email the free pdf, or post it on a web site: posting or emailing are a violation of copyright, and would breach our agreement with Civic Research Institute to provide you with this free access.
Casey and I were pleased to be able to make our work available through Domestic Violence Report, the leading publication devoted exclusively to preventing, treating, and prosecuting family violence and supporting the work of victim advocates through legal and policy analysis and practical program models. I hope you find the issue helpful in your work on behalf of victims.
Sincerely,
Gael Strack, J.D.
