Family & Intimate Partner Violence Quarterly is devoted
to articles that contribute to substantive knowledge and effective practice in the field,
presenting the best new ideas and approaches in preventing, prosecuting, and treating
intimate partner and family abuse. Our goal is to keep readers abreast of important,
relevant research, policy issues, legal developments, and innovative program strategies
that are getting positive results for victims and families.
We welcome manuscripts on subjects of interest to front-line advocates, counselors,
prosecutors, treatment professionals, law enforcement, and educators. Your
submission of manuscript clearly implies a commitment to publish in FIPV. Papers
under review by other journals or previously copyrighted by other publishers are
unacceptable.
Submissions should not exceed 40 typewritten, double-spaced pages, Times Roman
12-point font. Manuscript should be submitted electronically in Microsoft Word
or Rich Text Format. Any tables, graphs, or figures should be placed on separate
pages and must be submitted in black and white only; figures that are not available
in Microsoft Word, Excel or Rich Text Format may be submitted as PDF documents.
References should be styled according to APA guidelines. Please also include a brief
biographical note for each bylined author, along with postal, email, and telephone
contact information.
