Abstract:
How Prevalent is Charity Fraud? Can we talk about the real cost of “Cleaning Up Charity?” As donors to charitable causes we understandably want our money to be spent to further the causes that motivated us to make gifts. This is not merely a contractual commitment between each of us and the charity, but also a public trust, since tax subsidies multiply the power of our gifts. Laws should ensure to a reasonable degree that charities do what they implicitly promise the public they will do.Keywords:
