ABA Tax Section Suggestions to IRS for Form 990-PF

Abstract:
The IRS periodically requests public comment on various tax forms, and on September 4 of last year, the request was for comments on Form 990-PF (the Private Foundation Return form) and the accompanying Instructions. The American Bar Association Section of Taxation often provides detailed comments in response to such requests and in this instance their comments were detailed in deed. Prepared by a blueribbon task force of the Tax Section’s Committee on Exempt Organizations, the commentswere filed in late September 2010.
