Abstract:
After years of difficult markets, U.S. independent, community, and public foundations experienced solid investment returns in 2003. The Commonfund Benchmarks Study™ – Foundations 2004 reported the group averaged a 17% total return for the 2003 fiscal year, net of fees compared to a prior year return of – 8.7%.Keywords:
