Abstract: 

The IRS has an “Advisory Committee on Tax Exempt and Government Entities” (also known as ACT) that analyzes problems in its subject area and makes recommendations for improvements. The ACT recently released a report on its recommendations to assist in guiding new organizations through the requirements applicable to them and enhance their compliance with those requirements.
