Abstract: 

As discussed in Part I of “Donor Giving: Impediments and Solutions,” it is difficult and uneasy for families to talk about money. The topic is private and personal and is often not addressed because of fear of arguments and fights within families over money. Part II offers suggestions for advisors to encourage conversations with clients about giving through carefully planned conversations facilitated by a counselor.
