Abstract: 

The case is Scripps Research Institute v. Scripps Research Institute (No. 4D05-1195 (Ct. App. 4th Dist., Dec. 28, 2005)) and the issue was whether the Scripps Research Institute, a prominent research institution based in California, could prevent a newly formed Florida corporation from using its name.
