Abstract:
Donor-advised funds are the easiest, quickest way to get started and stay involved in organized philanthropy. You can create one in a day, fund it in a day or two, and start making grants soon after. You can pass it along to your kids, and then your grandkids, add to it, spend down principal (in most cases), and fund it with highly appreciated assets you don’t want to sell. Even if capital gains tax remains lower, it is still a good deal. Keywords:
