Abstract: 

The IRS recently called the attention of exempt organizations to the ins and outs of electronic filing for various forms, including Forms 990 and 990-PF. In an entry on its website, the IRS pointed out that electronic filing (“e-filing”) is faster, easier, and more accurate than filing a paper return. It reduces normal processing time and makes compliance with reporting and disclosure requirements easier. Any exempt organization can file electronically using an approved IRS provider.
