Abstract:
The Pension Protection Act of 2006, a 907-page pension reform bill that included a number of charitable provisions, including some major changes to the supporting organization rules. And that’s not all. President Bush signed the Act into law on August 17, giving those who had long awaited its passage over a 100 pages of new law to study. The final bill is Public Law No. 109-280. Some of those provisions took effect immediately upon enactment, while most of the others will be in full effect in the near future. Keywords:
