Abstract:

“Results.” It has become the fad word of the foundation world as America’s business successes turn to philanthropy as a second career and focus their ideas and innovation on ways to improve the world around them. Fleishman, the former CEO of Atlantic Philanthropies when it was underground and gave grants only as anonymous, has fueled the sense of assessment with his new book, The Foundation: A Great American Secret.
