Abstract: 

Fundraising in New York Not Enough to Subject Boston Charity to New York Court Jurisdiction. If Preacher Didn’t Do It Right, the Divorce Court May Divide Church Assets. In C.H. v. R.H. (2007 N.Y. slip op. 27465 (Sup. Ct., Nassau County, Nov. 13, 2007)), the husband was a founder of, and apparently exercised effective control over, Grace Christian Church, a nonprofit religious corporation.
