Abstract:
My previous article (“What Is a Charity: The English View,” FFA, Jan./Feb. 2008, p. 1) looked at the functions and duties of the Charity Commission as the principal regulator of charities in England and Wales, and the meaning of charity in English law, including the new “public benefit” test. This article examines good governance of charities and the law which underpins good governance. Keywords:
