Abstract:
Investment committees serving their respective endowments or foundations are charged with responsibly choosing, guiding, and firing the investment managers who have responsibility for the effective management of endowment funds. Given that broad charge, having a systematic approach to the investment process is critical. To best facilitate the decision making within the committee, the rules, reasoning, and criteria need to be clearly stated and documented. Keywords:
