Sex Offender Law Report

< previous article |next article > |return to table of contents

Abstract:

This article is somewhat unique in that it focuses on informal rules that play a heavy role in keeping sex offenders from reoffending. The authors of the paper studied the lifestyle of 28 convicted child sex offenders in Northern Ireland, examining the offenders and also their wives, partners, and children. There is only a small body of literature regarding the actual day-to-day lifestyles of convicted sex offenders.
