Abstract: 

This is the fourth article in an ongoing series based on Dr. Koski’s article “Jury Decisionmaking in Rape Trials: A Review and Empirical Assessment.” The tendency on the part of others, in effect, to attribute blame to the victim (and thereby to deprive her of legitimate victim status) has a well-documented history, dating at least 3,500 years.
