Abstract:

We receive many requests from criminal justice practitioners to publish information about the risk sex offenders pose to members of the communities in which they are living. In two previous issues, we published a summary of articles related to the risk assessment and recidivism of adult and juvenile sex offenders, based upon articles published in psychological and criminological journals. This column provides a summary of law review articles on the effect of residency restrictions on adult and juvenile sex offenders. Included here are the titleand author of the article, the Lexis-Nexis© summary of the key points of the article, and information on how to access the article.
