Abstract:
Our regular survey of the research literature summarizes and reviews two important studies. Reviewed are “The Role of Preparatory Programming in Increasing the Effectiveness of a Sex Offender Treatment Intervention” by Tanya Renn, Christopher Veeh, Melissa Grady, David Edwards, Carrie Pettus-Davis, and Katherine Kelton, published in 17(1) Victims & Offenders 22-37 (2022); and “You Should Have Known Better: The Social Ramifications of Victimization-Focused Sexual Assault Prevention Tips” by Sydney Cherniawsky and Melanie Morrison, published in 37 (1-2) Journal of Interpersonal Violence 125-46.Keywords: Sex Offender Accountability and Responsibility; Intervention Programs and Victim-Blaming
