Abstract: 

It is easy forget that Julian Assange, the mastermind behind WikiLeaks and a target of the U.S. for extradition on espionage charges, was also wanted by Sweden to face sexual assault accusations by two women in independent reports. This article examines the rape charges against Assange, the priority his sex crime prosecution may have when weighed against national security prosecutions in the U.S. and Great Britain, and the implications of each nation’s separate pursuits against Assange.
