Abstract: 

Human trafficking exists in all 50 states, and its victims are often children and adolescents. This article surveys the key literature on child sexual exploitation and examines some of the screening and assessment tools for identifying commercial sexual exploitation (CSE) including The Rapid Screening Tool for Child Trafficking (RST), The Comprehensive Screening and Safety Tool (CSST) for Child Trafficking, The Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths-Commercial Sexual Exploitation (CANS-CSE), and The Commercial Sexual Exploitation-Identification Tool-Version 2.0 (CSEIT 2.0).
