Abstract:
This article is based on our and others’ theory, research, and experience delivering treatment for adult male sexual offenders. When we have presented our SBA, the most common questions we receive concern how to implement SBA programs and “will it work in my setting?” Consequently, this article will focus on describing the implementation of an SBA program as an illustration and the reader can judge the suitability of this approach for his or her situation. Keywords: risk-needs-responsivity; motivational strategies; Good Lives model; behavioral interventions; strengths identification
