Abstract: 

Pending and Trending surveys recent sex crime cases raising novel issues that push the boundaries of decided law, in both the U.S. and internationally. This issue’s column reports on defense tactics aimed at casting an 11-year old victim of gang rape as a seductress; a Canadian child porn ring that included doctors and teachers among those swept up in a massive arrest; and questionable prosecutions of juveniles in Texas and South Africa.
