Abstract:

We receive many requests from criminal justice practitioners to publish information about the risk sex offenders pose to members of the communities in which they are living. This is a difficult question to answer, and one that depends upon multiple factors. This is the second part of a summary of articles related to the risk assessment and recidivism of sex offenders, as well as some studies on the efficacy of policies related to them. Because of the enormous number of articles published each year, this is a sample of articles from the last seven years deemed most relevant to the readership of SLR. The articles are in alphabetical order by author and contain the abstract summaries.
