Abstract:

These victimized individuals lost their dignity, money, and in the worst-case scenarios, their very freedom after unwittingly becoming illegal drug couriers for those posing as their friend or lover. This article serves as a clarion call to senior citizens, their families, and law enforcement officials to stay on the alert for the unconscionable practices of these nefarious scam artists.
