Abstract: 

Examines the desirability of seeking out and obtaining protection orders for immigrant victims of domestic violence. Included in this section are recommendations about language and provisions that ought to be included in the protective order application and strategies for counteracting perpetrators’ attempts to defeat their victims’ petitions for legal protection.
