Abstract:

Attorney Matthew Christoph presents a compelling treatise exploring the implications of the disempowered legal status of children navigating what is the distinctly uneven playing field of child welfare and dependency court systems, specifically in Massachusetts, where he practices. The relevance of his arguments goes far beyond his home state: they are a must-read for legal professionals and other services providers who often are the only voice allowed to advocate for their minor clients.
