Abstract:

More and more often, it seems, we hear another report of a murder-suicide, almost to the extent that this heinous crime has become a normal part of the day’s news cycle. Who is perpetrating the murder-suicides? How could and why would anyone do such a thing? Author Sonia Salari focuses on the realities versus the myths associated with these events, with special emphasis on its prevalence among the enormous and fast-aging generation known as the baby boomers.
