Abstract:
Violent and aggressive behaviors among youth are an increasing concern for parents, educators, and service providers alike. The youth violent crime rate reached “epidemic” proportions during the 1980s and 1990s, and the mid-1990s saw the juvenile arrest rate for violent crimes grow to exceed the rate of any other age group (Fox, 1996). The most effective interventions are extremely comprehensive and may require large initial investments or extensive structural resources that impede their use by individual practitioners. Keywords:
