Abstract: 

The Bazelon Center Report provides background information about the ways in which some students with emotional and behavioral disorders fare and are treated in schools. America’s schools need a thoughtful, comprehensive, and systematic strategy to meet the needs of children with serious mental health disorders. These students must get the excellent education they deserve. Approaches with proven effectiveness exist and should be implemented.
