Abstract:
As our nation readies itself for substantive health care reform, we are encouraged by the directives in the Affordable Health Care Act supporting the use of “medical homes” that address a person’s total health care needs, including mental health and substance abuse needs. What is less clear is how this opportunity will be applied to children and youth with serious emotional and behavioral disorders. Finding ways to maximize this opportunity is of critical importance. Keywords: "Medical Homes", AHCA
